Work

Blitz-Build React App

Blitz-Build is a full fledged React web-application that I worked on with a team of six full-time Lambda students. Blitz-Build is a real world application, made to assist residential construction teams in keeping track of their work and coordinating with their teams. For this project, my main focus was fulfilling the objectives of our stake-holder, in particular through managing the state management and navigation of the application. Sleep-Tracker React App

For Sleep-Tracker, I worked on creating a functioning back-end using Node.js as well as the front-end functionality for the "Homepage" and "Login" portions of the website. I especially enjoyed creating a bar-graph representation ofthe users inputed data as well as creating a fun, easy to navigate aesthetic.. You can check out my Sleep-Tracker web-app here!

Thunderball Run, a React App with a Django back-end

Thunderball Run is a maze based navigation game, which utilizes a React based front-end and a Django based back-end. For this project, I combined my knowledge of JavaScript and Python, along with some creative css, to create something that felt really special! I worked in visualizing data to create a map, utilizing multiple data structures (ecspecially python dictionaries and classes), and also made big leaps with my CSS aesthetic skills! About

I am a recent graduate of the Full-Stack Web Development program at Lambda School. I'm continuing to learn on a daily basis and am looking forward to a future career in technology. My passions include martial arts, music, and philosophy! I've spent almost two years living in rural China studying traditional culture. For many years, I worked in restaurants, going from busboy to cook, to waiter, with just about every role in-between. From the kitchen I learned to work hard and keep a pace. Later I became employed as the head instructor for a martial arts school which focused on early childhood development. It was a joy to work with families and provide a safe, supportive learning environment for children. Now, as I pursue a career in web-development, I look forward to working with the same discipline and supportive spirit I've development from my past experiences, helping to create a productive and healthy team environment.

Besides web-developement, I have a deep love for martial-arts! So much so, that I spent almost two years living in China just for training! I'm also intersted in music, philosophy, history, movies and so much more! One of my long term goals is to be able to teach martial-arts as a free service, while progressing professionaly as a software-developer.
